The concept of sustainable development was described by the 1987 Brundtland Commission Report as “development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs” . Mr. Shanmuga Retnam from MARA Vietnam (Market Access & Regulatory Affairs Vietnam) points out that sustainable leadership is about responsible leading way of approach, stopping to think of wider impact to environment and society. Responsible leaders always look up and out beyond of their boundaries, organizations, and activities.
The sustainable leadership and management have heightened. The critical aspect of any kind of business set-up equally grown. The climate and business environment will never be the same again. Businesses are on the run to balance business life and the enormous environmental issue.

Thus, the environmental issues cause worldwide concern and influence every business industry. Implications are soaring, and the environmental issues are bulging every day. Without the question of environmental sustainability, the item of sustainable development will remain unabated and utterly frivolous. “Leadership is a central of any kind of activities from small enterprises to government organizations. Mr. Shanmuga Retnam – MARA VN, Partner The business environment more and more competitive compels leaders to stimulate innovation. The changes that have impacted how organizations approach its way to business activities include environmental sustainability due to long & lasting effect to climate change.

Ecological sustainability is a complex issue because business must invest in new process and new technologies that disrupt not only the status quo but organization structure” said Mr. Florian J. Beranek.
Mr. Florian J.Beranek – UNIDO, Lead Expert
Regarding Environmental CSR, ethical and authentic leadership is part of the broader scope of environmental leadership. Ethical leaders are set for respect and mutual trust are solution-oriented to conflicting problems among various parties. Linking authentic leadership with environmental issues is the foundation of a sustainable organization.
