An award-winning business and technology hybrid, Xiao Jean (XJ) Chen build smart tools to make venture capital faster, better and equitable. Their mission is to end gender inequality in venture capital.
XJ founded VenturePole in Switzerland, an AI-powered venture investment platform that is armed with smart tools, including Investment Risk Rating, Valuation Calculator, Company Strength and Weakness Analysis, as well as automated due diligence.
They are the ambassador of Google's Women Techmakers, a mentor at Startupbootcamp's health tech accelerator, a researcher in organizational studies, an avid hackathon goer, an angel investor, and an ex-consultant in Hong Kong.
XJ published articles in large media, including Hackernoon, Business Upside, BRINK News and StartupNation. They were interviewed by Irish Tech News, Authority Magazine (Medium's leadership magazine) and the Female VC Lab Podcast.
XJ's toolset includes rainmaking, data analytics, mixed-method research, programming and writing verses they call poetry.
